Curried drumsticks


Ingredients

1. Medium sized drumsticks: 3 (peeled, cut in to 2inch pieces)

2. Tomato, cut in to small pieces 1

3. Onion cut 1

4. Turmeric Powder 1 teaspoon

5. Coriander Powder 1Tablespoon

6. Red chilly powder 1 teaspoon

7. Water 1cup

8. Salt to taste

For Grinding

1. Grated coconut ¾ cup

2. Shallots 2nos

For Seasoning

1. Coconut Oil

2. Mustard seeds 1tsp

3. Whole red chilies 3nos

4. Curry leaves few.

Method: .

1. In a pan, add the ingredients 1 to 7, mix well and bring to boil and cook till it is done.

2. Grind grated coconut and shallots in to a thick paste and add to the cooked drumsticks.

3. Bring it to boil and simmer for 4 to five minutes

4. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds, add red chilies and curry leaves

5. Add the spluttered mustard mix to the curry.

6. Serve with hot boiled rice.
